Privacy policy
Lyira is encrypted peer-to-peer messaging. This policy describes data handled by the app and minimal related services (e.g. Lyira Pay).
Identity and messages
Cryptographic keys and chat history stay on users’ devices. Lyira does not run a server storing message plaintext.
Contacts and QR
Contacts exist because someone scanned a QR or accepted a shared contact. There is no global Lyira user directory.
Node relay
When a recipient is unreachable, other nodes may temporarily hold still-encrypted envelopes. Expired envelopes are removed from relays.
Push notifications
If enabled, notifications may use Apple/APNs and a minimal relay (devben.app) that does not include message text.
Lyira Pay
Payments use Stripe Connect and Apple Pay. devben.app processes payment metadata (amount, transaction ID, payee/payer nodes) to complete the flow. We do not store cards or Apple Pay data.
No profiling
Lyira does not sell data, use ad SDKs, or track behavior for marketing.
